A scholarly platform for language-focused, interdisciplinary and applied research
Russian language studies lies at the intersection of several scholarly fields: linguistics, foreign-language education, literature, culture, translation and intercultural communication. These connections allow researchers to examine language not only as a structure, but also through its use, learning, texts, culture and social interaction, and to present findings in a rigorous and citable scholarly framework.
As academic and cultural connections with the Russian-speaking world expand, there is an increasing need for careful research in Russian language education, textual analysis, translation studies and cultural contexts. The journal seeks to respond to this need through the publication of original, peer-reviewed scholarship.
Accordingly, the journal welcomes research with a clear problem, defensible methodology, documented analysis and identifiable scholarly contribution, helping advance Russian studies and strengthen scholarly dialogue among researchers in Iran and abroad.
