Introduction
Russian Language Studies (Persian: دوفصلنامه مطالعات زبان روسی) is a specialized journal in the field of Russian language studies and related scholarly areas. It aims to provide a structured, transparent and academic platform for the publication of original research and to strengthen connections among researchers, teachers, translators and students.
The journal’s scope goes beyond the structure and use of the Russian language and includes areas in which language, literature, culture, translation and language education intersect. Scholarly mission
The mission of the journal is to provide a platform for the production, evaluation and dissemination of knowledge in Russian studies, so that published research, in addition to sound scientific reasoning and appropriate methodology, can contribute to a more precise understanding of the Russian language, processes of teaching and learning, Russian literature and culture, translation, and intercultural relations.
The journal also seeks to connect academic research with real issues of language teaching, translation and language study. Therefore, theoretical, empirical, descriptive, comparative and applied research may fall within its scope, provided it is consistent with the journal’s aims and meets the required scholarly standards.

The journal may consider original research, research articles, theoretical and conceptual studies, empirical and applied research, comparative studies and other scholarly forms consistent with its aims. The final type of article must comply with the requirements of the author guidelines and the journal’s operational policies.
Transparency and establishment status
The journal is currently in the phase of building its scholarly and operational infrastructure and preparing for the first issue. Information such as ISSN, DOI, indexing and the final composition of the editorial board will be published only after official realization, registration or confirmation. This approach is adopted to avoid presenting unconfirmed information and to maintain transparency toward authors and readers.
