Digital Preservation

Digital Preservation and Archiving

Policy for preserving access to and the integrity of published content.

Purpose

The journal aims to preserve published articles, issues and associated metadata in a stable and accessible form.

Current status

The journal’s GitHub repository is used for operational management and backup of website files and publication content. GitHub alone is not represented as an independent permanent archive.

Long-term archiving

After a formal long-term preservation service is selected and implemented, its name and coverage will be stated on this page. Until then, services such as CLOCKSS or Portico are not presented as active preservation arrangements.

Integrity of the scholarly record

When an article is corrected or retracted, the related version history and notice should remain identifiable so that readers can understand the current status of the scholarly record.

Development plan

As the publishing infrastructure develops, the journal will work toward independent long-term preservation and standardized publication metadata.
