Complaints and Appeals
How to raise and review complaints and appeals concerning editorial processes.
Submitting a complaint
Complaints, appeals or reports concerning editorial processes may be sent to mm.rubin@ut.ac.ir with a clear description, manuscript information where applicable and supporting evidence.
Appeals
An appeal should identify a review-process error or a specific, evidence-based issue in the scientific assessment. Disagreement alone does not require a decision to be changed.
Editorial and ethical complaints
Concerns about conflicts of interest, confidentiality, inappropriate conduct, research misconduct or procedural errors will be reviewed and, where appropriate, assigned to another qualified person.
Confidentiality and independence
Complaint information will be kept confidential as far as practicable. A person whose own decision or interest is directly involved should not be the sole decision-maker for that complaint.
